About Ally Meier, CFP®, CDFA®, CPFA®
Hi, I'm Ally Meier, Financial Advisor at Arlington Financial Advisors.I joined Arlington Financial Advisors in 2023 as an Associate Financial Advisor and have since advanced to the role of Financial Advisor. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2018 with a B.A. degree in Economics and a minor in Applied Psychology. I also received my CFP® certification in November of 2020.
I have over 10 years of experience in the financial industry as I started my career at Merrill Lynch, working my way up from an intern to a Financial Advisor. I am passionate about helping clients navigate complex financial decisions and build thoughtful strategies aligned with their long-term goals and values.
I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles but decided to join the Santa Barbara community after enjoying my four years at UCSB. I remain deeply involved in the Santa Barbara Community and at UCSB as a member of the alumni association, my sorority, and the Greek Interconnect group. I particularly enjoy the mentor relationships I have fostered since graduating.
I am a member of the Junior League of Santa Barbara, where I have held various leadership roles such as planning their annual Gala and Rummage sale, served on the board as Treasurer, and chaired the Training committee. I am also involved with Santa Barbara Humane and Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my dog named Sunday.

About Arlington Financial Advisors
Arlington Financial Advisors is a fully independent financial planning firm based in Santa Barbara, offering strategic financial planning, estate and tax planning, private money management, and insurance consulting.Who We Serve
We are Santa Barbara's trusted family guide and mentor for busy professionals and business owners. Our ideal clients are the "worried well" among financially successful families, especially those facing major life transitions, who want to gain a more complete picture of wealth that may be concentrated in real estate or their own business. Whether or not they live in our community, our clients tend to value history, continuity, and local connections, and they look to us as a home away from home while they protect what they've built and prepare for what comes next.
Our Services
We offer handcrafted, highly personalized advice across the full spectrum of financial matters, from retirement planning to intergenerational issues to business decisions. Our service model is built around a structured program that addresses net-worth-based financial planning, estate planning, private money management, and tax strategy throughout the year, supported by thorough preparation for every client meeting.
Why Work With Us
As a fully independent firm, we're free to use our best judgment to craft the solutions we believe are right for each client rather than being tied to proprietary products. Our clients see us as educators and friends as well as advisors, and they call on us to consult on family and business matters in addition to financial decisions.
We've designed our historic Arlington Corner offices to offer a home-like, "kitchen table" environment where families feel comfortable discussing their goals and concerns.
Investment advisory services are offered through Arlington Financial Advisors, LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser held to a fiduciary standard.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
